Knucks!

Here's a couple more pictures from Day 1 at home. Adelyn was excited for everyone to be back at home together. She was very proud of her little sister and would shout "my baby, my baby" when showing her off to the neighbor kids. She hasn't been jealous or extra needy, and is a wonderful big sister. She did ask Abigail to give her "knucks" which was super hilarious, and Adi was confused why she didn't get a fist pound in return from her little sister. They'll be making up secret handshakes before you know it.

Mom and Dad are remembering what it feels like to operate on very little sleep. Abigail feeds every couple of hours (at least), so the nights are quite the feeding frenzy. But it's impossible to be frustrated, because she is just too cute ...... even at 3:00 in the morning. Give us the benefit of the doubt if you are visiting and we start to doze off. We catch our z's when we can. Lots of love.

  1. Hilarious. You have to love the fist pounds.

I didn't get to see her with her eyes open when I visited and she is just so precious. Looking forward to seeing her at the baptism, that is if I can wait that long.

  2. Your little girl is just beautiful. I'm so glad to finally hear you had her. I was beginning to worry. I can't believe she was that late. I guess she just wanted to make an entrance. We miss you at work. Enjoy your time off!
